Terry Milne Osgood

Terry Milne Osgood has been with Young & Susser since June 1998. Possessing extensive appellate experience in both state and federal courts, she served as an Associate with the Bloomfield Hills office of Dickinson, Wright, Moon, Van Dusen & Freeman from 1989 to 1995.
Ms. Osgood received a B.A. with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she graduated first in her class. While in law school, she interned with the Honorable Pasco M. Bowman, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Upon graduation, she served as law clerk to United States District Court Judge D. Brook Bartlett, Western District of Missouri, and she later clerked for the Honorable Henry William Saad at the Michigan Court of Appeals.
Ms. Osgood is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Missouri Bar. Ms. Osgood is admitted to the following Courts: United States Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th, 8th and Federal Circuits, Western District of Missouri, Eastern District of Michigan, and the Michigan and Missouri State Courts.
Ms. Osgood is the author of Recognition of American Judgments in Canada: Recent Canadian Law Moves Toward a 'Full Faith and Credit' Standard (Michigan Bar Journal, January 1995), and contributor to Michigan Business Torts, The Institute of Continuing Legal Education 1991.
Martindale Hubbell, an attorney rating agency, has awarded Ms. Osgood the top ranking of "AV". Ms. Osgood was also recognized by dBusiness as a Top Lawyer in the area of Commercial Litigation for 2010.
